Say hello to Jojo, BenGlassLaw’s Long-Term Disability Assistant!
Jojo joined BGL as the Long-Term Disability Assistant in March 2024. He is one of our wonderful team members based in the Philippines. As the LTD Assistant, Jojo is responsible for contacting physicians, medical groups, hospitals, and following up to retrieve necessary medical records for our disability team to work their magic for our clients.
Jojo comes from a close-knit family. His father works as a carpenter while his mother runs a local sari-sari store. Jojo says that one of best things about his family is that since he was a child, they’ve never had to buy rice because they own a farm (which his older brother now manages).
Outside of work, Jojo has a deep appreciation for nature and the outdoors. He enjoys camping, hiking, and indulging his passion for nature photography and videography. Photography has been a lifelong interest for Jojo, dating back to when he was just 12 years old and first discovered his fascination with capturing images. However, his true multimedia journey began in college when he got his first DSLR camera. Since then, he has been dedicated to honing his skills in photo and video editing. He also loves trying new cuisines, dishes, and drinks.
Jojo is a valuable addition to the BGL Team.

Favorite thing about working at BGL: Here are some of my favorite aspects of working at BGL: flexibility—BGL understands that employees have responsibilities outside of work; work-life balance; company culture; and challenging work. Finding work that is both interesting and challenging is crucial to enjoying your job. When you perform the same tasks day after day, you might feel ready for something new. Having a variety of tasks and responsibilities that teach you something new can make you feel more engaged and fulfilled.
A highlight of your career at BGL: As a student, my career aspirations are centered around constant growth and skill enhancement. I value the opportunity to constantly learn and grow. Being exposed to new challenges helps me develop both professionally and personally.
First meal after getting rescued from an island: Sangyupsal! Because of the word ‘unlimited’, I can eat all the food it serves on the table. Aside from that I love Korean BBQ.
